Our Services - Retail Design and documentation

New Norcia Bakery is a retail only Bakery, offering various stone ground breads, pastries and their famous New Norcia products. Our design inspiration was centred on the monastic order in New Norcia, based approx. 150 km north-east of Perth. Architectural arches in timber framing and the interpretation of natural hand cut materials highlight the form of the retail outlet, which is only 33sq.m in area. The use of engineered, aged oak brings a natural warmth to the design as well as emphasising a traditional aesthetic. A combination of dimmable shelf lighting, pendants and task lighting, emphasise the forms used to conceptualise an authentic and inviting bakery experience. All aspects of the design, project management and signage design were undertaken by DSLD
