Gourmet Republik is a ‘food to go’ concept kiosk that provides gourmet meals for busy people. The kiosk consists of three large open sided fridges as the base, which determined the profile of the kiosk design. We decided on etched marble to be used as cladding material, The already developed branding was utilized in the etching of the marble base and sides of the kiosk, to subtly repeat the brand and emphasize the quality of the product. A high level of finish was achieved in the two tones of marble and the timber details. As the kiosk is viewed from level 2 of the Shopping Centre, the router detail to the timber top ‘wraps’ the kiosk to complete the design.
